You may feel like God is far away from your pain.

Like your tears don’t matter.

But I want to remind you today — God is not far away.

He is God, yes — but He is Abba Father first.

And of course your tears matter to Him.

Even when God allows things to unfold in ways we don’t understand, He is not absent. He promises us, “I am with you always.” And that is not just a comforting thought — it is a promise.

That means when you feel like God is far, He is also near.

He is near:

Wiping your tears
Walking with you step by step
Sitting with you in the ache of grief

You may not understand right now.

You may never fully understand on this side of heaven why things unfolded the way they did.

And that’s okay.

God wants to remind you today that:

You are deeply loved
What you feel matters
What you are going through matters

Scripture reminds us of this truth:

“You keep track of all my sorrows.

You have collected all my tears in your bottle.

You have recorded each one in your book.”

Psalm 56:8 (NLT)

Not one tear is wasted.

Not one moment of pain is unseen.

God sees you.

He sees all of your tears.

And He is with you — even when the answers don’t come.
