The holidays have a way of reminding us how deeply we miss the people we love.
We miss their presence — the laughter, the conversations, the way they used to show up in our lives. And sometimes grief arrives in waves. One moment you’re okay, and the next a sound, a smell, or a memory brings everything rushing back.
If that’s where you are today, it’s okay to say, “I miss you.”
You don’t need to push it away or pretend you’re fine.
As I write this, my own heart aches — and I know yours may too. Let’s pause together. Let’s breathe. Let’s whisper the words our hearts are holding:
I miss you.
I wish you were here.
Thank you for the memories.
You are not doing this alone. I am sitting with you — and I’m praying for you.
🙏🏽 A Prayer for the Grieving Heart
Father, in the name of Jesus, comfort my aching heart as I long for my loved one.
This pain feels unbearable at times — missing their voice, their touch, their presence.
Only You can bring comfort that quietens my anxiety and holds me through this separation.
Help me to find meaning in this moment, and one day, may I remember with more love and less pain.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
