It’s Okay to Say, “I Really Miss You.

Grief has a way of silencing us.

It convinces us to keep our feelings hidden, to be “strong,” to move forward without pausing long enough to acknowledge what we’ve lost. But grief doesn’t disappear just because we ignore it.

It’s okay to feel grief.

It’s okay to say, “I really miss you.”

Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is give ourselves permission to name what’s true. Not to fix it. Not to rush it. Just to feel it.

If you can, take 30 seconds right now and allow yourself to sit with that feeling.

There is nothing wrong with you for missing someone you love.

That’s not weakness — it’s humanity.

Grief doesn’t need solutions.

It needs compassion, space, and time.

💜 My Love Letters to the Grieving: You Are Not Alone was created as a gentle companion for those navigating loss with honesty, faith, and grace. It’s not a quick fix — it’s a place to be seen, heard, and supported.
